Kaylee "Kalikimaka" arrived a couple of weeks early so she could celebrate her first Christmas with her family. We cannot get enough of her.

Now all sing along..."Kaylee Kalikimaka is the thing to say on a bright Hawaiian Christmas Day...That’s the island greeting that we send to you from the land where palm trees sway...Here we know Christmas will be green and bright, sun will shine by day and all the stars at night...Kaylee Kalikimaka is Hawaii’s way to say Merry Christmas to you"

Lacey is getting close! Less than a month away from the arrival of TJ. We are all very excited on the upcoming Christmas present. Check Mark and Lacey's page for updates and check out the bassinet.

The painting of the black trim and the foundation is completed along with new rain gutters along the back and the yard side of the house. The place looks great and I suspect that Jan will be the next to go over for New Years.

I posted a couple of slide shows at www.photoshow.net/johnstaff. You should be able to play them by clicking on the icon...you may need to load flash first.

I also updated the link to the Avalon house web page...it is now http://home.roadrunner.com/~johnstaff.

We all had a great time at Criag and Annika's wedding in Seattle on Lake Washington. The food was great, the band was terrific, and the company was the best. Thank you Kirby, June, and the Lacy's for a wonderful event and congratulations to a terrific couple.

Mark and I had a wonderful time in Maine. We walked and hiked a lot, and enjoyed getting to use our camping gear. We saw some great views and had a few delicious lobster dinners.
Happy (early) Halloween from Gracie the Lady Bug, Moose the Pumpkin and Sydney the Lobster.

We moved the Ratskeller furniture into the entertainment room...what do you think?

Here is a Avalon visitor we ran into a couple of houses over. He and his friends have been pruning the roses and other plants down to the nubs.

Mark's Birthday on Catalina

We went to Catalina the last weekend of January to celebrate Mark's birthday. Uncle John, Aunt Liz, Cady, Mark's parents (Dan and Carol), and Mark's brother (Bill) all joined us. We went hiking up to the divide, and of course, Mark got some fishing in.
